Modern Theology Publication

I’m really honored that Modern Theology published my article, “Remembering Rape in Heaven: A Constructive Proposal for Memory and the Eschatological Self” today.  Back when I took Serene Jones’s “Trauma and Theology” course at Yale, I was incredibly moved by Susan Brison’s work on gender-based violence, and I really hoped that theologians would begin to engage similar themes using the methods of our own discipline. This article is very much the culmination of this hope, and I’m truly grateful that I had the opportunity to write and publish it.
